Wednesday 6th March - walks **** – Around Felixstowe – sunny with light breezes.

Walk 1. Felixstowe Ferry.

Another nice day and was not going to do anything first thing as we were having Maeva later in the day but after doing Wordle etc. I checked outside and it looked another lovely day, sunny with a hint of fog again so once again I headed down to Felixstowe Ferry to take some weather pics which sadly seem to be a waste of time as I am out of favour so far this month:( I got to the Ferry around 8.30 and had a pleasant walk around the boatyard getting some nnice pics, always trying to get a different angle. Then home for breakfast and even managed to do my exercises in the back garden while Mag sorted out her compost which she loves, she is never happier when she sees that it is full of worms:)

Walk 2. Around Felixstowe – 4 miles.

We got the message that Maeva was ready for collection just before midday so I thought it would be a great idea to walk the long way back along Felixstowe prom and have chips on the pier as the weather was so nice, so good it was another day for shorts! Had a nice chat up with Jay, their cats Pepsi and Fanta made a real fuss and Maeva was pleased to see us! It’s a long walk along Maidstone Road and down past Mc Donalds before reaching the prom and onto the pier where Mag buys sausage and chips which we enjoy, then home up the pram walk and we all end up having a doze! Top day, there is a run of easterly winds, it might be a fraction too chilly for the sea and there might be parking problems at Levington? So will have to wait annnd see but it would be nice to get out for my first foil of March!
